Ozone is highly effective for water treatment, being a proven method of destroying bacteria, viruses and protozoa as well as eliminating taste, odour and colour and removing iron and manganese. Apex offers turnkey solutions for the treatment of drinking water to the New Zealand standard (2005) and process waters to allow their reuse within industrial processes.

Systems for drinking water range from 1,000 to 400,000L of water treated per day, offering solutions for individual houses through motels and schools to isolated communities and new subdivisions. Where required by the DWSNZ (2005) or by location, systems incorporate upstream filtration, online monitoring of ozone (concentration and C.t), turbidity and pH, and chlorine dosing and residual monitoring. Remote telemetry allows plant monitoring and optimization across a secure web connection from anywhere in the world.
