Upgrading existing infrastructure
The Turangi membrane bioreactor (MBR) wastewater treatment plant generates highly treated wastewater to minimize the potential for nutrient losses into Lake Taupo.
Since 2011 Apex Environmental has supplied SINAP flat sheet membranes for the existing plant, which has substantially increased the flow through the MBR plant and provided other process benefits when compared to the previous type of flat sheet used.
