What's the job?
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Administrator to join the Apex Project Team at our Auckland Office in East Tamaki. In this role you will work alongside the Project Management and Design Teams, providing administration support in all aspects to ensure they deliver on time, every time.
You are a great multi-tasker, comfortable working through a high volume of tasks, whilst liaising with multiple Project Managers. IT skills are one of your many strengths and Microsoft Office is a breeze to you, meaning you will have everything organised and under control at the click of a mouse. The role is wide ranging and will include activities such as administering the Health & Safety database, working with the Proposals Manager preparing and compiling tenders, working with the Project team to prepare site safety plans, compiling project documentation and other general admin tasks as required. In addition, you will be working with the General Manager to meet monthly reporting requirements and carry out other general PA type tasks.
As a team player you will thrive in this environment, assisting with development of processes and any other tools that are required, supporting the team and the delivery process.
We want someone who:
- Displays excellent communication and writing skills
- Has the ability to work under pressure to a high standard
- Is a consistent team player with the ability to work with a variety of people
- Is a Microsoft Office whizz with intermediate to advanced Excel and Word skills
- Is a self-starter, prepared to take the initiative
- Has previous experience in Health & Safety, and in the engineering or construction sectors
- Is able to do overnight travel from time to time and has a clean driving record
